How to Get Started at The Autism Therapy Group:

The first step for starting services is to reach out to ATG to discuss your child’s specific needs and begin a free insurance consultation. We are available 24/7 by phone, text, or email – call (847) 465-9556 or contact us here.

ATG will help you through each step of the process from your initial consultation to the start of your child’s services:

Initial Consultation – We will begin by speaking with you on the phone about some basic things such as your child’s background and needs, past treatment, scheduling availability, and obtaining the necessary information for insurance verification. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone (847) 465-9556 or via email here

Initial Assessment – One of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) will meet your child once we’ve confirmed insurance and received permission for an evaluation. This visit will be made up of thorough as well as casual assessment methods, which will serve as the basis for their personalized treatment strategy.

Individualized Treatment Plan – After the assessment, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst will develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your child’s particular demands.

Start of Services –When we have confirmation from your insurance provider that your kid’s treatment plan has been approved, we will confirm the treatment schedule. To ensure continuity and consistency in your child’s care, it is critical that a regular treatment regimen be set and maintained. We’ll then introduce your child’s therapist(s) to him or her to begin ongoing services. Please see further information on our services to learn more about our team setup and program structure, as well as your involvement in the process.

Continuous Evaluation – The key to a successful ABA program is regular evaluation of your child’s development. Your kid will be reassessed by his or her Board Certified Behavior Analyst approximately every 6 months to ensure that adequate progress is being made and to identify any new or existing areas in which he or she may develop.
