Why this matters to your family
When a therapy team feels supported, that support reaches your child.
Therapists who feel respected stay longer. They grow their skills. They bring their full attention to every session. Great Place to Work certification measures exactly this: employee trust, pride, and the health of an organization’s culture. Earning it for the fifth year in a row says something important about ATG: this is a place where people choose to stay.
Five years and counting
ATG first earned Great Place to Work certification in 2021. At the time, 83 of 114 employees responded to the survey. They named the five qualities that defined working at ATG: justice, support, collaboration, fairness, and respect.
Since then, ATG has grown to serve families across multiple locations in Illinois and Texas. The certification has renewed every year because those core qualities have held.

What the numbers show
Great Place to Work surveys employees anonymously and comprehensively. Here is what ATG’s team reported in the most recent survey:
- 88% of employees say ATG is a great place to work — compared to 57% at a typical U.S. company
- 96% feel they make a difference
- 94% feel good about the ways ATG contributes to the community
- 92% feel their work has special meaning
- 92% feel a sense of pride in what they accomplish
These are the people who work with your child every week.
What ATG invests in its team
ATG supports its employees at every stage of their career:
- Every new team member is paired with a mentor for guidance and ongoing support
- RBT certification, BCBA exam prep, and CEU support are built into the path forward
- Schedules are designed to protect work-life balance and sustainable caseloads
- Management is consistently rated as approachable, competent, and committed to job security
What employees say
“ATG is a great place to work because of all the support, encouragement, and heart that everyone shows. I can honestly say I work with amazing people who do everything they can to make a difference.”
Jessica Doyle, Human Resources Coordinator
“I have pride in what we accomplish as a team. ATG continues to give me this opportunity every day.”
Lisa Guerrero, Texas Regional Director, BCBA
“The key to ATG being a Great Place to Work is recognizing how to balance growth and support with a healthy work-life balance. You need to take care of yourself first in order to be a great clinician.”
Olivia Smith, BCBA
What this means when you choose ATG
High employee satisfaction and strong clinical outcomes are connected at ATG by design.
When ATG’s therapists feel valued, they stay. When they stay, they develop deeper skills and build stronger relationships with the children they serve. Earning this certification five consecutive times means ATG has maintained that standard as it has grown. That consistency is what you are choosing when you choose ATG for your child.
